Allergy & Asthma Care of Western Michigan has been serving patients throughout West Michigan for over 30 years,
Our physician, Dr. Millar, is Board Certified in Allergy-Immunology.
Dr. Millar completed all of his medical training, including Allergy-Immunology Fellowship, at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Millar is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
Dr. Millar is President of the Asthma Network of West Michigan, the asthma coalition serving West Michigan. Dr. Millar has lectured on asthma throughout the state.

Dr. Mark Millar, is Board Certified in Allergy-Immunology. Dr. Millar has further expertise as an Asthma Specialist:
- Dr. Millar has published in the medical literature on a variety of asthma related topics including Severe Asthma, Cough Asthma, and Asthma in Pregnancy.
- Dr. Millar has served as the President of the Asthma Network of West Michigan (ANWM). This organization was dedicated to asthma awareness and education. ANWM was awarded the Hometown Health Hero Award in 2005 from the State of Michigan for its role in promoting community health. In addition, Dr. Millar was awarded the Spirit of ANWM award in 2004.
- Dr. Millar has served on the Michigan Asthma Advisory Committee, a state-wide group formed to address the problem of asthma in Michigan.
- Dr. Millar, along with other ANWM members, has met with the past Governor and the Surgeon General of the State of Michigan to discuss asthma care issues for the state.
- Dr. Millar has lectured on asthma throughout the state of Michigan and has served on a faculty that teaches those training to become certified asthma educators.
- Dr. Millar has presented at major Asthma Conferences on various topics including the "Rhinitis and Asthma Link" and "Asthma in Pregnancy."
- Dr. Millar has presented at medical Grand Rounds at numerous hospitals on a variety of asthma topics.
- Dr. Millar won the 1998 award from the Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology for his research presentation on severe asthma.
- Dr. Millar completed all of his medical training at Northwestern University in Chicago. This includes medical school, residency training, and Allergy-Immunology fellowship.
- Dr. Millar is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and is on staff at multiple hospitals throughout Grand Rapids.
- Dr. Millar is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology as well as a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
